Fabrication design
Production-ready panel drawings and the machine program from a finished architectural or structural design, for any light-gauge steel production line.
For: LGS manufacturers, machine owners, contractors.
For this service: Inputs — what we need · Outputs — what you receive
| # | Work item | Content |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Panel drawings | element by element, for production and assembly |
| 2 | Position numbering | a unique position number for every element, and a position map |
| 3 | Bill of materials | by profile and by length |
| 4 | Machine program | a file the production line’s controller takes directly, for the machine’s parameters |
| 5 | Machine survey | for an unfamiliar machine: profiles, punching positions, service holes, maximum length |
| 6 | Trial production | option — the first run supervised, the program refined |
| 7 | Structural documentation | option — only if verification is required |
Not included: manufacturing — we do not operate the machine; the structural design, if it does not exist yet — that is the Structural design package.
- CSV or RFY: the same information, different logic — see Machine programs: CSV or RFY?
- Machine independence: any controller that accepts CSV can be served; surveying an unfamiliar machine usually takes a few days.
- If the design was not made for steel, the structure has to be redesigned first — worth deciding at the first stage.
- On site: no services through the profiles, the build-up as drawn — see SZ-03 Vapour control and services.
