The project started overnight, because the funding arrived unexpectedly — there was no time left for a review. Already at tendering it was clear that something was wrong with the structure: the beam-to-column proportions did not look right.

We redesigned the whole project on the fly. A solution in steel and precast concrete came quickly — in partnership with Bohn Mélyépítő and Első Beton. We brought in the mechanical and electrical designers in time and redrew the architectural details in-house. The difficulty was not the building but carrying the full responsibility of a general design project from a site office.
