What we hand over
The package
Section titled “The package”Shop drawings
Section titled “Shop drawings”Member-by-member panel drawings, with position numbering. The measure: detailed enough that the erector does not have to ask on site.
Material take-off
Section titled “Material take-off”By profile, with lengths and quantities — procurement works from it.
Machine program
Section titled “Machine program”A file for the line controller, tailored to that machine’s parameters: CSV, or RFY for FRAMECAD. The machine program: what we hand over.
Assembly logic
Section titled “Assembly logic”Marking and assembly sequence where it makes sense. The marking is structural information: with mixed material thicknesses a swapped member looks no different. Marking and assembly logic.
What we add on request
Section titled “What we add on request”- a structural calculation and note, if verification is needed, Optional structural note,
- the machine-specific template, if there was a machine survey, Machine survey,
- the trial production findings and the refined program. Trial production.
What it does not include
Section titled “What it does not include”The build-up and the disciplines’ drawings — unless those are part of the appointment too. Shop design covers the frame.
And it does not include fire verification: that has to be decided separately. When no system document is required.
What is worth keeping
Section titled “What is worth keeping”The panel drawings and the take-off, for the life of the building. At a later alteration they tell you where there is a stud and where there is a nogging behind the lining. What you can hang on the wall · Later alterations.
The point
Section titled “The point”The measure is simple: the erector should not have to ask. If they ask, the drawings were incomplete — not the erector careless.
