Confidentiality and uploaded drawings
Why we take it seriously
Section titled “Why we take it seriously”Because we regularly receive other design practices’ work for review. If we did not treat it confidentially we would never get another such instruction — and rightly so.
What it means in practice
Section titled “What it means in practice”- We store uploaded documentation on a European server.
- We keep it for a limited period.
- Only the colleagues working on that project have access.
- We will sign a non-disclosure agreement at any time, on request.
The exact figures belong here
Section titled “The exact figures belong here”The storage location, the retention period and the access rules have to be taken verbatim from the privacy notice in force. This article can only be published once the two texts match — a contradiction here is a serious risk.
What we state separately for plan review
Section titled “What we state separately for plan review”Our aim is for the structure to be sound, not to undermine a colleague. If a document is needed for legal action, we agree that separately — it is not an automatic by-product of the review. Plan review.
What applies to your own design
Section titled “What applies to your own design”What we hand over is yours. The conditions for reusing the model and the documentation are set out in the contract. Drawings or model as the deliverable.
The point
Section titled “The point”We receive other practices’ work day in, day out. So confidentiality here is not a promise but a business condition.
