The permit package
What we assemble
Section titled “What we assemble”The full documentation required for the authority procedure, with the disciplines’ input.
The content is set by legislation, not by us — so the itemised list sits in the technology knowledge base. The content of the permit design · The building permit procedure.
What we add
Section titled “What we add”Coordination between disciplines
Section titled “Coordination between disciplines”Not parts produced one after another, but coordinated documentation. The contradiction comes out at the drawing board, not in a request for missing items.
Administration
Section titled “Administration”We handle the submission and the procedure if you want. If you would rather do it yourself, that is fine too — we hand over the documentation ready to submit.
Structural compliance up front
Section titled “Structural compliance up front”The structural part is not a chapter added afterwards: it continues the structural principle settled at concept. The structural part of the permit design.
What to know after the permit
Section titled “What to know after the permit”The permit says the building may be built — not that it has been designed. Building it takes a detailed design. Detailed design and BIM.
And the content of the construction documentation may not depart from the final and enforceable permit. If a solution differing from the permitted one emerges during detailed design, the permit has to be amended.
If no permit is required
Section titled “If no permit is required”Within a defined range of single dwellings, simple notification is enough. There the package and the process are different. The simple notification package · Permit or simple notification.
The point
Section titled “The point”The permit design speaks to the authority. Having the permit does not mean you can start building — only that you are allowed to.
